The Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of St. Callistus Parish, New Haven, Enugu, on Sunday, 14 December 2025, inaugurated its Chibuzo Cultural Dance in a colourful ceremony that marked a significant moment in the life of the parish.
The event brought together women, parishioners, and invited guests in an atmosphere of joy, unity, and cultural pride. Members of the CWO thrilled the audience with graceful and energetic dance performances, reflecting strong coordination and communal spirit. The celebration also featured a well-organized luncheon, which recorded a massive turnout and further added to the success of the event.
The programme recorded an impressive turnout, with the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Ikechukwu Odigbo, and the Vicar, Rev. Fr. Marcellinus Okey Eze, present throughout the event. They commended the women for their dedication and cultural initiative.
Overall, the event was widely acclaimed as a success, highlighting effective organization and leadership under the CWO President, Mrs. Vera Obi, and the committee chairperson, Mrs. Elizabeth Ude, with strong support from members and well-wishers.
