Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni paid a visit to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Bahrain, one of the most prominent Catholic landmarks in the Gulf region.
During her visit, the Prime Minister toured the cathedral’s striking modern architecture and learned about its role as a spiritual home for thousands of migrant Catholics living and working in Bahrain.
Her stop at the cathedral formed part of her official engagements in the Kingdom, highlighting growing ties and interreligious goodwill between Italy and Bahrain.
