The Catholic Diocese of Zaria has confirmed the abduction of Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ezema, who was kidnapped late Monday night at the parish residence of St. Peter’s Rumi, located along Kano Road.
According to diocesan sources, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when armed men invaded the parish house and took the priest away.
The Diocese has called on the faithful and the general public to join in prayers for his safety and swift release.
May God protect him and bring him back home safely.
