Erika Kirk Reveals Late Husband Charlie Kirk’s Devotion to St. Michael in Emotional Fox News Interview. In her first public interview since the tragic death of her husband, conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk opened up about his deep spiritual life and special devotion to Saint Michael the Archangel.
Speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters on November 5, Erika shared how Charlie’s faith was a constant part of his life, symbolized by the cross and medals he wore daily. “For his first birthday present, I got him this cross,” she recalled, holding up the necklace during the interview. “Over time, I added different medals to it. He loved Saint Michael. Every time he put it on, he felt like it was his armor.”
Erika said that when they first started dating, she encouraged him to wear a cross as a visible sign of his faith. Though he initially protested, saying, “I’m not a jewelry guy,” the cross soon became one of his most cherished possessions.
Reports following Charlie’s death on September 10, 2025, indicated that he was wearing his Saint Michael medal at the time. Though not Catholic, he was deeply drawn to the symbolism of St. Michael as a defender against evil.
Erika continues to wear her late husband’s medal in his memory. As she concluded the emotional segment, she asked for prayers for Charlie’s soul and for their family’s continued strength.
Eternal rest grant unto Charlie Kirk, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
