A couple receives a new House from St. Pius Parish Nara Unateze

History was made in Nara on Wednesday 16th April, 2025 as a couple Mr. and Mrs. Ikechukwu Ede received a newly built bungalow from the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Paulinus Udenwagu.

The official blessing and inauguration of the house was presided over by the Dean of Agbani Deanery, Very Rev. Fr. Stanislous Zeowa . In his reflection, the Dean praised the Philanthropist, Mr. Ifeanyi Onyeabor who provided the fund for the project.

Commending Mr. Ifeanyi Onyeabor for his generosity, the Dean described his action as a true reflection of God is with us. He emphasized that God is always with us through the church, the Priests, the sacraments, human beings and things happening in our lives. He also emphasized the importance of supporting the church to carry out such projects.

He praised the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Paulinus Udenwagu for his numerous achievements in the parish and encouraged the parishioners to uphold their faith and commitment to community development. ” Blessed are those who create opportunities to help others in spite of their own necessities”. the Dean said. Mr. Ifeanyi Onyeabor has made sacrifices so that others may eat and live. If you have wealth, use it to help others especially the less privilege ones”. He equally thanked Mr. Francis Anichukwu and Mr. Emmanuel Onu for donating household items to the family stressing that only God will reward them. He called on the faithful to offer prayers for them so they can keep doing their good deeds.

In a vote of thanks, the parish Catechist Mr. Emmanuel Ede, on behalf of the Parish, thanked the Parish Priest for his outstanding leadership in the Parish stressing that he was the first priest that brought the Auxiliary Bishop to the Parish since after his episcopal Ordination. He thanked the Dean for his fatherly love always and for making out time to honor the invitation and the benefactors for their many great works.
The event was a moment of great joy and inspiration for the community as such event has never happened in the history of the Parish before. Cultural dance from the CYWO was also on ground to entertain the people.
