The Holy See Press Office has announced plans of Pope Francis making his first public appearance after 38 days of being in the hospital on Sunday 23rd March. The statement reads “Pope Francis intends to appear at his window tomorrow at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital shortly after 12 noon for a greeting, and to impart his blessings.” Recall that Pope Francis was admitted to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital since February 14, 2025 where he is been treated for double pneumonia. This has been his longest stay in the hospital since assuming the papacy in 2013.
