St. Pius Parish, a beacon of hope and faith in Nara Unateze, marked a major milestone last weekend, celebrating its 25th anniversary with fervor and festivity. The silver jubilee event welcomed the Auxiliary Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Ernest Obodo, whose words of encouragement and blessing touched the hearts of the faithful in the parish.
Led by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Paulinus Udenwagu, the celebration spanned three impactful days, from October 4th to 6th, and was filled with deeply spiritual and community-building activities. The event commenced with a blessing of the newly dedicated Jubilee Grotto, symbolizing the parish’s journey over the past quarter-century and its faith in the future. This was followed by a day of catechesis, aimed at deepening the understanding and commitment of the faithful.

The celebrations reached their climax on Sunday, October 6th, with a grand thanksgiving Mass attended by both parishioners and dignitaries.
