-Goes to Holy Rosary Parish, Ogwuagor on a Pastoral visit
Christians have been urged to allow the Holy Spirit to guide them daily as they navigate through life’s complexities. This charge was given on Sunday, May 12th, by the Auxiliary Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Ernest Obodo, as he concluded a weekend-long pastoral visit to Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish, Ogwuagor, Abakpa-nike, Enugu.
Bishop Obodo emphasized the importance of allowing the Holy Spirit to lead, reminding the faithful of the virtue of their conversion and the sacrament of confirmation they received. He particularly urged for a closer relationship with the rosary, especially amidst the growing levels of suffering and uncertainty in the country.
Addressing the youth, Bishop Obodo urged them to embrace patience, cultivate a learning culture, and maintain a teachable and coachable character, while emphasizing the value of hard work. He encouraged all to consider their vocation as a service to others.
Reacting to the Bishop’s visit, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Michael Eze, expressed gratitude for Bishop Obodo’s presence, highlighting the parish’s delight and the blessing received by parishioners.
The visit’s highlights included the sacrament of confirmation being conferred on hundreds of qualified candidates and a mass wedding as part of the pastoral visit’s activities.
