The Woman leader of the labour Party in Oji River Local government area of Enugu State Barrister Mrs Chinyere GBUGU who also is the Lolo of Amanator kingdom Autonomous community in Achi has advised women in her Council area to use the extended window of opportunity by INEC for the collection of PVCS to ensure that they are ready to vote in the upcoming election in February and March 2023.have
She made this remark when the Enugu Deputy Governorship candidate for Labour Party Dr John Nwokeabia and the Senatorial Candidate of the Labour Party for Enugu West Hon Dennis Amadi OGUERINWA paid a Courtesy Call to the ROCK Palace Enugu Akwu in Oji River local government where they were received by the Son of the late Sage HRH Ginger Ibeneme, Dr MC ginger who is the Labour Party Chairman Oji River LGA of Enugu State.
Barrister GBUGU, who has been very active in the political scene in Enugu State, noted that the majority of voters are women and youths, so she is doing everything in her power to help the women understand the significance of the PVCS because this is the only way they can change the narrative and ultimately ensure that the leadership they want will be in a position to alleviate their respective challenges by bringing a variety of democratic dividends.
She added that she had held numerous advocacy gatherings with local members of the Labour Party in order to support each person’s desire to take control of their own destiny and produce quality outcomes from the process of altering the way they had always done things, which had resulted in more hardship.
According to Lolo, the Labour Party, which is running candidates for governor and deputy governor of Enugu State, Barrister Chijioke Edeoga and Dr. John Nwokeabia, has come to Nigeria and Enugu in particular to clean up the system and offer a meaningful leadership.
