
It was a dancing extravaganza as the jubilant South Eastern contingent took to the streets of Jos to celebrate Master Eze Fabian of College of Immaculate Conception (CIC), Enugu for winning the first prize at the National essay competition yesterday 27th November, 2020; at the Rwand Pam township Stadium, Jos, Plateau State.
Fabian, who is in SS2 started this competition at the preliminary level, where CIC, Enugu became the state flag bearer by emerging the best in Enugu state.
At the national stage, CIC, again came first in the South East and thus became the zonal flag bearer.
The grand finale which took place on Thursday 26th November, 2020 saw CIC, emerging as the National champion.
Expressing his excitement, The Principal of CIC, Fr. Hillary Mgbodile thanked CIC teachers for their dedication; and the old boys for their inspirational support and encouragements.
He further reaffirmed the vision of the school to continue to build a generation of scholars, whose hunger for excellence is founded on an objective reading culture
