The Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga has shared the many spirited efforts the church in Enugu is making in the face of the raging coronavirus ravaging the world and the country as well.
Speaking in a Press conference on Thursday, 16th April 2020 at the Bishop’s Court, His Lordship enumerated the many efforts being taken by the church, focused not only to cushion the harsh effect of the lockdown following the COVID-19 pandemic, but also the many efforts being made to address safety concerns cutting across all her parishes and institutions and as well educate the faithful on how best to stay safe from the raging virus.
His Lordship acknowledged the difficulty being faced by many, he however expressed hope that things will change for the better while charging the faithful never to lose faith because according to him, the end to the coronavirus crisis bedeviling the world currently is on sight.
