303 Students, 12 Teachers Abducted in Niger Community School Attack — CAN Confirms
The number of pupils and students abducted from St Mary Private Primary and Secondary Schools in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area, has risen to 303, according to the Niger State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). The total number of victims, including 12 teachers, now stands at 315. The attack occurred in the early hours of Friday when gunmen invaded the St Mary’s Catholic School, initially abducting 215 pupils and 12 teachers.
